Roger Carroll 1969

It's Monday.  Won't you join us for the Best Sounds In Town?  If you haven't heard yet, I'm working with Roger on his internet streaming radio station.  http://rogercarrollbestsoundsintown.com features classic Roger Carroll shows and Roland Bynum, Gene Price, Jim Pewter, Chris Noel, Ira Cook and shows from Robert W Morgan, Wink Martindale and Billy Pearl.  All done and told sounds a lot like when I heard these guys the first time.  You're invited!

Roger was with the network for a long, long time.  We're glad to make this available.

Mary Turner 1986

Mary Turner brought the rock in the 1980s and 90s.  She had the daily show and "Off The Record".  The music was great and she really had a way with an interview.  She always treasured her time as one of the AFRTS-LA talent.

Joe Ferguson 1983

In 1983 AFRTS reached out to jocks all over the country to record series of shows for the troops.  Joe Ferguson from Portland (OR) was one of the guys to contribute great shows.  A while back Joe shared his shows with us.  They are a bunch of fun...

John Doremus 1968

Amazing set of pipes and smooth.  John Doremus had evening music for many years.  Similar to what Jim Ameche did earlier and what Pete Smith did later but smoother and bigger.  He had recorded Music Through the Night shows sponsored by the airlines that ran on the biggest AM clear channel stations in the country.  He also was the one that started syndicating in flight music.
